Netflix Orders Two Seasons Of 'Peaky Blinders' Sequel Series
Netflix has ordered two seasons of a Peaky Blinders sequel series, set in 1950s England. Each season will feature six one-hour episodes. Creator Steven Knight says the story will remain rooted in Birmingham, focusing on a new generation of Shelbys rising from the aftermath of the Blitz. Casting hasn’t been revealed yet, but original star Cillian Murphy is attached as an executive producer. The original series (2013–2022) followed the Shelby crime family from post-WWI through the 1930s, with a cast including Sam Neill, Helen McCrory, Tom Hardy, Paul Anderson, Anya Taylor-Joy, Sam Claflin, and Joe Cole.
