Nexstar, ABC’s largest affiliate group, also dropped Jimmy Kimmel Live! immediately, calling his remarks “offensive and insensitive.” Kimmel, who initially posted condolences online, changed tone in his on-air comments, sparking the controversy. His show is now off the schedule “for the foreseeable future.”
