Shaq Accepts Boxing Match
Shaquille O’Neal, 53, is stepping into the boxing ring after accepting a celebrity fight challenge from Charles “Charlie Mack” Alston, a former Will Smith bodyguard and hip-hop insider. The beef goes back years, when Mack claims he “chopped Shaq in the neck” for cutting an autograph line in Dallas. Mack reignited the feud on Instagram, and Shaq quickly accepted, declaring, “Diesel don’t run from nobody… You chopped me in my neck, Charlie Mack, that’s why I talk so funny. Payback time.” Mack, who’s about 6’6” and 290 pounds, dubbed O’Neal “Sha-knocked out” in the fight hype. O’Neal, who played at 7’1” and 325 pounds, looks set for a super heavyweight showdown under Official Celebrity Boxing, the same promotion behind past wild-card fights involving Jose Canseco, Lamar Odom, and Tonya Harding.
