Jimmy Kimmel Saved Matt Damon From Choking To Death
Jimmy Kimmel revealed to Variety on Monday that he genuinely feared being charged with murder when Matt Damon choked on a pork rib at Kimmel’s $7.8 million Los Angeles home. Kimmel recalled that Damon ate too quickly, causing a rib to lodge in his throat for about an hour and a half. After failed Heimlich attempts, the group fed Damon small pieces of bread to help the rib pass, which ultimately saved him. The incident ties into their long-running, satirical feud that began in 2005 with Kimmel joking about running out of time to book Damon. Over the years, Damon and Kimmel have staged pranks and playful trash talk, from parody songs to pretend hostage situations.
