HBO just added more magic to its Harry Potter series by announcing the casting of the Weasley siblings. Tristan Harland and Gabriel Harland will play prankster twins Fred and George, Ruari Spooner steps in as straight-laced Percy, and Gracie Cochrane takes on Ginny. They’ll join Alastair Stout’s Ron, already confirmed as part of the new Golden Trio alongside Dominic McLaughlin (Harry) and Arabella Stanton (Hermione). The adult lineup is stacked too: John Lithgow as Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Snape, and Nick Frost as Hagrid. Production kicked off in July 2025, with HBO promising a “faithful adaptation” of Rowling’s books. Fans will have to wait until 2027 for the premiere.
