Ana Navarro Urges Gloria Gaynor To Reject Trump's Kennedy Center Honor
Ana Navarro, co-host of The View and CNN contributor, is urging singer Gloria Gaynor to refuse President Trump’s upcoming Kennedy Center Honor. Navarro praised Gaynor as a “goddess” but said she shouldn’t accept an award from someone she claims has attacked women, people of color, and the LGBTQ community — noting that the gay community helped make “I Will Survive” an anthem. Gaynor is among five honorees Trump named for the December ceremony, alongside George Strait, Michael Crawford, KISS, and Sylvester Stallone. Trump said he was “98% involved” in the selections and rejected candidates he considered “too woke.” Gaynor hasn’t commented publicly but did share the White House announcement on her Instagram Story.
