Warner Bros. Discovery announced Superman will hit digital video-on-demand this Friday and arrive on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD on Sept. 23. The film, starring David Corenswet as Superman and still in theaters at No. 6 as of Aug. 8-10, was praised by UPI for director James Gunn’s bold, comic-inspired approach. The cast includes Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, plus DC characters like Mr. Terrific, Hawkgirl, and Guy Gardner. Digital copies come with Gunn’s audio commentary, deleted scenes, and a gag reel, while physical editions add a 60-minute behind-the-scenes feature and several shorter featurettes.
