Jennifer Aniston Makes Rare Comment About 'Love Triangle' With Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie
Jennifer Aniston opened up in a new Vanity Fair profile about the intense media frenzy during her so-called “love triangle” years with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. She called it a “vulnerable time” and admitted the constant tabloid coverage left her with a kind of PTSD, making her wary of interviews for fear of being misquoted. Married to Pitt from 2000–2005, Aniston said the scrutiny over her relationships, childbearing choices, and personal life was hurtful and invasive, noting, “We’re human beings… we didn’t sign up for that.” She reflected on advice she gave herself then—“pick yourself up and keep walking”—and said she didn’t have the constitution to remain unaffected at the time. Aniston’s later relationships included John Mayer, Vince Vaughn, and Justin Theroux, whom she divorced amicably in 2018. She’s maintained friendships with people like Gwyneth Paltrow (another Pitt ex) and Jason Bateman, whom she’s “co-mom” to his daughters. Also in the interview, Jen said the raw emotion in the movie "The Break Up" was fueled from her break-up with Pitt six months earlier.
