South Park has once again set its satirical sights on President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem in its Aug. 6 episode "Got A Nut." The storyline follows school counselor Mr. Mackey joining ICE, which the show lampoons as hiring anyone without qualifications. In a dark running gag, Noem is shown repeatedly shooting dogs — a jab at her real-life 2024 admission to killing a family dog. ICE raids escalate from a Dora the Explorer live show to even raiding heaven, with Noem making racist directives. Mackey later visits Mar-a-Lago, where Trump offers him the role of “new face of Homeland Security” because Noem’s face “freaks me out.” Inside Trump’s bedroom, Mackey finds Satan reading in bed, prompting a hasty exit. VP JD Vance is portrayed as Trump’s Fantasy Island-style sidekick, eventually kicked so hard by Trump that he flies off-screen. Vance later joked on X, “Well, I’ve finally made it.” The episode ends with Noem on a pet-store shooting spree.
