In the West, USDA specialists are using an unusual tactic to deter wolves from attacking cattle — blasting a heated argument scene from the 2019 film Marriage Story with Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver. The goal, says Oregon specialist Paul Wolf, is to make wolves associate humans with “bad” experiences. Other deterrents include fireworks and AC/DC’s Thunderstruck. The strategy comes amid rising wolf attacks following their reintroduction to Yellowstone National Park.
