Denzel Washington reunites with director Spike Lee for their fifth film together, Highest 2 Lowest, a crime thriller inspired by Akira Kurosawa’s High and Low. Washington plays a powerful music mogul whose son is kidnapped in a ransom plot, forcing him into high-stakes negotiations. The cast also includes Jeffrey Wright, Ilfenesh Hadera, and A$AP Rocky. The film hits theaters August 15 and begins streaming on Apple TV+ September 5.
