At the Giffoni Film Festival, director Tim Burton teased a new project with Lady Gaga, revealing they’ve worked on “something else” together besides filming for Wednesday Season 2. Burton praised Gaga as an “amazing artist” and said collaborating with her was inspiring, despite not being a musician himself. Gaga joined the cast of Wednesday last year, playing Rosaline Rotwood, a dark arts teacher at Nevermore Academy, with her character expected to appear in the second half of the season releasing in September.
