"South Park" Creators Trey Parker & Matt Stone Close New Overall Deal: Paramount+ Becomes Show's Global Streaming Home
South Park isn’t going anywhere — in fact, it’s just signed up for five more years of chaos. Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have inked a new overall deal with Paramount Global through their company Park County, locking in 50 new episodes over five seasons, and securing the show's future through Season 31. In tandem, South Park Digital Studios has struck a $1.5 billion exclusive licensing deal with Paramount+, making the streamer the official U.S. home for all 26 past seasons and future episodes. Starting yesterday, episodes will hit Paramount+ the day after they air on Comedy Central.
