Tom Holland has officially confirmed he’ll reprise his role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and he says this fourth installment will feel like a “breath of fresh air” — both for fans and for filmmaking. After the COVID-restricted, soundstage-heavy production of No Way Home, Holland teased that the upcoming movie will return to real locations, starting in Glasgow, in a throwback to the hands-on style of 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. Now that Peter Parker’s identity has been erased from everyone’s memory — thanks to the multiverse-melting spell in No Way Home — the fourquel sets the stage for a reset of sorts, with Peter back to being a nobody in a world that doesn’t remember him. Brand New Day hits theaters July 31, 2026.
