Peacock has set September 4 as the premiere date for The Paper, a mockumentary-style comedy and spiritual follow-up to The Office. The series kicks off with four episodes, followed by two new episodes every Thursday through September 25. Created by The Office mastermind Greg Daniels and Nathan for You's Michael Koman, The Paper follows the same documentary crew from Dunder Mifflin as they search for a new subject — and land at a struggling Toledo newspaper, The Truth Teller, led by a passionate new publisher. Domhnall Gleeson headlines a cast that includes Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, Tim Key, and Office alum Oscar Nuñez. Guest stars include Tracy Letts, Molly Ephraim, and Mo Welch.
