Brad Pitt has finally addressed the official end of his long divorce battle with Angelina Jolie, nearly eight years after she filed in September 2016. Speaking to GQ, Pitt downplayed the December 2024 settlement, calling it “just something coming to fruition. Legally,” and saying it wasn’t a major moment for him emotionally. The settlement comes after years of legal disputes, including custody issues and property disagreements. Jolie’s attorney stated she and the children had left all shared properties and focused on healing. Jolie also waived her right to spousal support “forever.” Pitt and Jolie were declared legally single back in 2019, but the final terms of their divorce weren't settled until late 2024.
