Netflix has secured a straight-to-series order for a TV adaptation of The Secret of Secrets, the upcoming novel by Dan Brown, in one of the biggest book deals to date. The series will follow Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon as he races to rescue a missing scientist and her mind-altering manuscript. Set for release on September 9, the book is the sixth installment in Brown's popular Langdon series. Brown is teaming up with Lost and Jack Ryan showrunner Carlton Cuse to co-create, write, and executive produce the show, which promises a thrilling blend of futuristic science, ancient mysteries, and global suspense.
