Hulu’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer revival has found its new slayer. Sarah Michelle Gellar revealed in an Instagram video that 15-year-old Ryan Kiera Armstrong will join the cast. Gellar, who returns as Buffy Summers, will now mentor a new generation of slayers. The revival, developed over three years with Nora and Lilla Zuckerman and originally pitched by Chloe Zhao, marks a fresh chapter for the franchise. Armstrong, known for roles in American Horror Story: Red Tide, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, The Glorias, Firestarter, and The Old Way, accepted Gellar’s on-camera invitation to “save the world” as her “chosen one.”
