Halle Berry hesitated when asked whether the new James Bond should be a woman and when asked whether her character Jinx might return. “I don’t know if 007 should be a woman,” she said. “In 2025, it’s nice to say, ‘Oh, she should be a woman.’ But I don’t really know if I think that’s the right thing to do.” She was also asked whether she would “reprise” her character Jinx, and she hesitated about that also, according to Variety. “I doubt there will be a Jinx spinoff. There was a time that that could have happened. Probably should have happened. I would have loved for that to happen,” she said. “But I think that time has passed.”
