The upcoming Harry Potter TV series on Max has confirmed six cast members, including four previously reported by Deadline: John Lithgow as Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Snape, and Nick Frost as Hagrid. New additions include Luke Thallon as Quirrell and Paul Whitehouse as Filch—Whitehouse notably appeared in the original films as Sir Cadogan. The series will follow Harry Potter’s journey from an orphaned child to a young wizard attending Hogwarts, where he and his friends face growing magical threats and the looming danger of war.
