Tom Holland's New Spider-Man Movie Gets A Title
On Monday, Tom Holland’s fourth film as Spider-Man received a brand-new title – “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” – and a release date of July 31, 2026. Director Destin Daniel Cretton ("Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings") was on hand to make the announcement at CinemaCon. Holland called the movie "a fresh start" for his main character, after Peter Parker sacrificed his identity to save his friends in the cliffhanger of "Spider-Man: No Way Home." Principal photography is set to start this summer on "Brand New Day," and while in pre-production, "daily, we’re nerding out over the suit, how to swing, how to create an emotional story and a ride we haven’t seen before," Cretton said.
