Ben Affleck opened up about his split from Jennifer Lopez and his relationship with his first wife, Jennifer Garner, in a recent interview with British GQ. Affleck and Lopez rekindled their romance in 2021, but their marriage ended after two years, with Lopez filing for divorce last August. While he has largely avoided discussing the breakup, Affleck emphasized that there was “no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue” behind it. Explaining why he prefers to keep details private, he admitted, “It’s not about blame—the reason I don’t want to share is just sort of embarrassing. It feels vulnerable.” During the interview, Affleck also spoke about his relationship with Garner, with whom he shares three children: Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12. Despite their 2015 split, the two have remained close. “I’m really lucky to have a great co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner,” Affleck said. “She’s wonderful, and we work together well.”
