“Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary, who previously mounted a bid to serve as the prime minister of Canada, told Fox News’ Bill Hemmer that Donald Trump didn’t heed his advice to “stand down” on trolling Canada yesterday. On Monday, Trump reacted to the resignation of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau by declaring that “Many people in Canada LOVE being the 51st State.” On America’s Newsroom, Kevin said: “So I was in Mar-a-Lago over the weekend. I had a few moments with the president-elect, and I asked him if he would consider the fact that Trudeau on Saturday, when we were talking, the rumors were that he was going to resign — in fact, he did – I said, ‘Well, why not stand down on Canada for the next couple of months while they elect a new leader like you were elected with a four year mandate,'” replied O’Leary.
