A group of new individuals were just awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. President Biden bestowed the nation’s highest civilian honor to an array of individuals — including Michael J. Fox, Denzel Washington, Bono and Hillary Clinton, to name a few — at the White House in Washington, D.C., on Saturday. The Presidential Medal of Freedom is "presented to individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the prosperity, values, or security of the United States, world peace, or other significant societal, public or private endeavors," according to the White House.
