Elon Musk’s Tesla event on Thursday caught the attention of many of his fans and critics when it revealed new robotic technology, including Optimus the dancing robot and the self-driving Robotaxi and Robovan. Some people saw design similarities to 2004’s I, Robot movie — including the movie’s director. Alex Proyas, the director of the movie, fired off a tweet politely chiding Musk for seemingly ripping off his designs. In a tweet, he wrote: “Hey Elon, Can I have my designs back please?”
