Chris Pine has been ordered to appear for a deposition on Oct. 25 in a legal dispute with his neighbor, Helen Yu. A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled that Pine must provide documents related to Yu’s 2022 lawsuit. Yu, whose property borders Pine's, accused him of planting trees with invasive roots that have damaged her property, including the walls, plumbing, and pool. Pine countersued, claiming Yu had previously installed a misplaced fence on his property. Yu’s legal team stated that they've been trying to depose Pine since January 2023 and that he missed an Oct. 2 deposition.
