Jon Bon Jovi Persuades Woman Not To Jump Off Bridge
Jon Bon Jovi helped save a woman’s life after convincing her not to jump from a bridge. The Metro Nashville Police Department said the singer helped persuade an unidentified pedestrian to safely come off the ledge of the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge (formerly the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge). The department also posted a video clip of the alleged interaction to YouTube (it has since been removed). “A shout out to @jonbonjovi and his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Ped Bridge Tue night. Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety,” the Nashville PD said in their social media post, adding a quote from Chief of Police, John Drake: “It takes all of us to help keep each other safe.”
