George Clooney On Quentin Tarantino Trashing His Movie Career
George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino appear to be at each other’s throats. In an interview with GQ to mark his upcoming Apple TV+ movie Wolfs, Clooney revealed that he is irritated with Tarantino, his former co-star and director of Pulp Fiction. Clooney is under the impression that Tarantino trash-talked his movie career in a recent interview. Clooney was asked by GQ if he felt competitive with Brad Pitt about the fact that Pitt had appeared in Tarantino movies, including Inglourious Basterds. Clooney replied: “Quentin said some s*** about me recently, so I’m a little irritated by him. He did some interview where he was naming movie stars, and he was talking about you, and somebody else, and then this guy goes, ‘Well, what about George?’ He goes, he’s not a movie star. And then he literally said something like, ‘Name me a movie since the millennium.’ And I was like, ‘Since the millennium? That’s kind of my whole f****** career.’” He added: “So now I’m like, all right, dude, f*** off. I don’t mind giving him s***. He gave me s***.”
