Dwayne Johnson sustained a nasty injury to his right elbow on the set of his movie The Smashing Machine, he revealed yesterday on Instagram. It’s unclear whether Johnson’s injury will impact production. “As you guys know, I’m filming a movie called The Smashing Machine,” says Johnson in a recently posted Instagram video, “and anytime your film is called The Smashing Machine, well, you’re kind of going to get smashed up. Look at that sucker right there,” he said - pointing to swelling in his elbow. “It looks like I have a cantaloupe in the bottom of my elbow. I got banged up pretty good today in our scenes, and there might be some soft tissue damage in there.” He said there’s a lot of fluid in his elbow, which will have to come down before he can get “any kind of MRI.” “The pain feels pretty good, but all good. It is what it is until it isn’t,” he said.
