Yesterday on “Today,” Gillian Anderson indicated that she would be open to doing “a little somethin’-somethin'” in Ryan Coogler‘s in-the-works X-Files reboot. It was leaked a little over a year ago that Coogler, the filmmaker behind the Black Panther and Creed movies, was aiming to “remount The X-Files with a diverse cast.” Pressed by Today‘s Savannah Guthrie if Coogler’s reboot could entice her to flash Scully’s badge again, Anderson said, “I’m not saying no, because I think he’s really cool. And I think if he did it, it probably would be done incredibly well. Maybe I’ll pop in for a little somethin’-somethin.'”
