Coldplay are being sued by their former manager Dave Holmes over a contractual dispute. The band - frontman Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer Will Champion - are said to have secretly parted ways with Dave 12 months ago, after working together for 22 years. He worked with Coldplay for almost all of their career, beginning as their manager in 2001 after Phil Harvey stepped down and took on the role as creative director instead. Dave has reportedly now filed a lawsuit in the UK, with Coldplay's spokesperson confirming the news to Variety. Their first manager, Phil, as well as Mandi Frost and Arlene Moon, who worked alongside Dave for many years, have now taken control.
