This isn't the first time Driver has been linked to the role, as a report from January already mentioned him as Marvel's top pick. However, the actor and Marvel have yet to confirm this latest development, and fans may have to wait until San Diego Comic-Con in July for official news. The Fantastic Four reboot was officially announced during Marvel's San Diego Comic-Con panel in 2019, shortly after Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox, which previously held the rights to the franchise.
