Jennifer Aniston recently discussed the current state of comedy and its evolving standards during the debut of her new Netflix comedy, Murder Mystery 2, alongside Adam Sandler. "Comedy and movies have progressed," Jen told French news agency AFP. "However, it's a bit tricky now because you have to be cautious, making it increasingly challenging for comedians. The charm of comedy lies in making fun of ourselves and life," she explained before going into detail. In the past, "You could make jokes about bigots and find it hilarious. It was a way to educate people about how absurd people were," Aniston said. "But now, that's no longer acceptable or considered funny by many." In reality, she says, there is now a whole generation of young people revisiting Friends episodes and finding them offensive.
