Denzel Washington is in final talks to join the Gladiator sequel. According to Deadline, he is in the last stages of negotiation to star in the upcoming film, a report confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter and Variety. The movie will see Washington reunite with Gladiator director Ridley Scott, who previously directed him in the 2007 film American Gangster. In the sequel, Washington would star alongside Paul Mescal and Barry Keoghan, whose casting was reported on Thursday.
