Netflix's political thriller "Zero Day" will feature Robert De Niro as the lead actor. The series is designed to explore the question that is on everyone's mind: “how can we find truth in a world that is in crisis and seems to be tearing apart due to external forces beyond our control? In an era marked by conspiracy theories and subterfuge, the show aims to investigate how much of these forces are actually our own creation, or even a product of our imagination.” De Niro, who will play the role of a former US president, will also serve as an executive producer for the limited series.
