The Southern Maryland Food Bank is desperate for food donations from the Southern Maryland Community. Star 98.3 FM will be having a Food Drive to support the Southern Maryland Food Bank on Friday, May 15th from 6 a.m. - 10 a.m.. Stop by on your way to work or taking the kids to school. The food drive will take place at our studios at 28095 Three Notch Road (Rt. 5 South) in Mechanicsville, Maryland.

We will take any non-parishable food goods. Can veggies, canned meat, pasta, rice, beans even meat and fish can be accepted. You can even bring a monetary contribution and the money will be given to the Southern Maryland Food Bank staff on site. 100% of food and monies collected stay in Southern Maryland to feed your neighbors right here in our own region.
