Theft:  On 5/7/18 at 1:16 am, Trooper Woolman responded to the 7-11 on Prince Frederick Blvd. in Prince Frederick for a theft complaint.  Two males entered the store and attempted to pay for a pack of cigarettes with a debit card.  The transaction was declined.  One was wearing a black “Helly Hansen” jacket and the other was wearing a black t-shirt with a black and red “Chicago Bulls” hat.  They proceeded to run out of the store and left in a Maroon 4-door sedan.  The case remains open at this time.
Possession of Cocaine & Marijuana:  On 5/7/18 at 11:29 pm, Trooper Marsch stopped a vehicle near Rt. 4 and Commerce Lane in Prince Frederick for traffic violations.  The odor of Marijuana was emitting from inside the vehicle.  A probable cause search revealed both Marijuana and Cocaine.  William H. Knight, 34 of Huntingtown was arrested for possession of the CDS drugs and was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
Burglary/Assault/Theft/MDOP:  On 5/8/18 at 3:48 pm, Trooper Stull responded to the 5400 block of Sheridan Point Rd. in Prince Frederick for a burglary complaint.  Investigation revealed two suspects entered the home without permission, physically assaulting a juvenile in the home and stole a Iphone and a necklace and attempted to take the family dog.  Investigation revealed the identity of both suspects.  One suspect, John F. Peyton Jr., 18 of Port Republic turned himself into the MSP Barrack and was arrested for burglary, assault, theft and malicious destruction of property.  The case remains open until the arrest of the second suspect.
