Jodie Foster says she turned down the role of Princess Leia. She confirmed on Wednesday's episode of The Tonight Show that she was offered the role of Leia in the 1977 film Star Wars. She explained that she passed on the role due to scheduling conflicts. "I was doing a Disney movie and I just didn't want to pull out of the Disney movie, because I had already -- I was already under contract," she said. "So I didn't do it."
