Dave Chappelle Triggers Walkout From Boston Show

During his performance at the TD Garden arena in Boston, Dave Chappelle sparked a walkout when he criticized the Hamas attacks on October 7 and condemned Israel's continuous bombing of Gaza. Chappelle expressed his views on the Middle East conflict, slamming Israel for its response to Hamas' attack, which resulted in over 6,000 bombs dropped on Gaza within a week. He accused Israel of killing innocent civilians and accused the US of aiding in the slaughter of civilians. Chappelle also pointed out alleged war crimes in Gaza and defended pro-Palestine students protesting for a ceasefire, stating they shouldn't lose job offers. When someone in the audience told Chappelle to stop talking, he criticized the Israeli government for cutting off essential resources like water, fuel, and electricity, which power water and sewage plants, and for blocking humanitarian aid from reaching Gaza. Some audience members cheered and shouted "Free Palestine," while others questioned, "What about Hamas?" Chappelle's comments led to some audience members getting up and walking out of the show. Despite reports, Chappelle allegedly denied being in Boston on that Thursday night.
