Former NFL star Michael Oher's supposed adoptive parents, made famous by the movie “The Blind Side,” are facing his legal petition. Oher claims they deceived him into signing a document that granted them conservatorship for profit. Despite being portrayed as his adoptive parents, Oher asserts that Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy used him to acquire wealth. He filed a 14-page petition in Tennessee, stating the central theme of the movie was false. Oher alleges that the conservatorship allowed the Tuohy family to secure a deal for royalties from the movie, leaving him without any earnings. He seeks to end the conservatorship, prevent the use of his name and likeness, and demands a full accounting of the money earned through him. The Blind Side, a Michael Lewis book that became the basis for an Oscar-winning movie, grossed $309 million. Sandra Bullock played Leigh Ann in the movie.
