Choreographer Wade Robson's allegations of childhood molestation against Michael Jackson will lead to an upcoming trial. The California Court of Appeal recently cleared the path for Robson to present his case, asserting that Jackson allegedly molested him at the Neverland Ranch when Robson was between 7 and 14 years old. Robson is pursuing legal action against MJJ Productions, Inc., Michael Jackson's corporation. Jackson's company lawyers argued that the corporation did not have a legal obligation to protect Robson or others from Jackson's actions, as they had no control over his behavior. While the trial court accepted the Estate's argument initially, the Court of Appeal held a contrasting viewpoint. Based on a preliminary ruling, the case is now set to be returned for trial. Robson maintains that when he immigrated to the United States from Australia as a young boy, Jackson formed a friendship with him and subjected him to sexual abuse.
