Elon Musk Reveals Tucker Carlson Hasn't Signed A Deal With Twitter As He Welcomes Him To The Platform

Elon Musk clarified yesterday that he had not entered into an agreement with Tucker Carlson, shortly after the ousted Fox News host announced the relaunch of his show on Twitter. In a three-minute video posted on his Twitter page, Carlson criticized the mainstream media and stated that anyone attempting to report the truth would be terminated. "At this point in the news business, the best you can hope for is the freedom to tell the most comprehensive truth you can, but there are always limitations," Carlson told his followers. "If you come up against those limits frequently enough, you'll undoubtedly be fired for it. That's not a guess; it's a certainty." Carlson shared the video along with a tweet that read, "We're back." Musk clarified that he had not made any sort of agreement with Carlson, and that the host would earn his own revenue through advertising. "I'd also like to make it clear that we haven't made any sort of agreement. Tucker is subject to the same regulations and benefits as all content creators," Musk tweeted in response to Carlson's video.
